It's easy to see why United States military personal is such a big part of our Tampa Bay communities and neighborhoods.
One of our home buyers last year had served in the military and was now a consultant and was taking college graduate courses at the University of South Florida - the great thing is we have lots of colleges and universities in the Tampa Bay area to choose from as well.
When relocating to the Tampa Bay area people either want to stay close to MacDill Airforce base which is located 8 miles south of downtown Tampa (withing about 30 minutes) or some are willing to commute a little further to be closer to our Tampa beaches since the commute may 45 mins - 1hr but the tropical lifestyle is hard to beat - either way we can help!
Moving to Tampa | St Petersburg | Clearwater Florida -Working at MacDill AFB
If you are looking for Tampa Bay neighborhoods closer to MacDill you may want to consider neighborhoods in Clearwater, St Petersburg, Westchase, Brandon, Valrico, Riverview, South Tampa and Port of Tampa.
The great news is there are lots of Tampa real estate bargains right now and because we are still in a buyer's market you can find great values on homes under $200,000 in Brandon, Valrico, Clearwater and St Petersburg and even the higher priced, high demand area of South Tampa has buyers negotiating deals on these craftsman style homes with the finest detail throughout. These are all easy commutes to the Tampa International Airport as well.
