Activerain educationA couple of weeks ago I got a call from a guy taking a job as a plant manager here in my area. He told me he wanted me to help him and his family buy a house and relocate here. I asked him who referred him to me and he said no one. I then asked the direct question,"why me"?

Rob stated that he googled Dyersburg and found so much information on the internet that answered so many of his questions about the area. The strange part of it was that Mike Frazier was the author of that local information. Mike Frazier kept coming up over and over and over again. I learned all this "localism" stuff right here on Activerain!

He told me I must be the smartest Realtor in the area and that is why he picked me. Actually I am not the smartest but I am the only blogging Realtor here in my area.

Rob and his entire family came a few days ago to begin the house search and we narrowed it down to a couple of properties and late yesterday we completed the negotiation process on a house for his family. That $300,000+ sale sure will help the bottom line and I owe it all to all of you here in the rain that have taught me so much.
