Greater Toronto Area Real Estate Market Update

June 2012

The Average Selling Price for homes in the GTA ..... up 7.3% over the same period last year

Over all sales numbers..... Down  5.4 % over the same period last year with 9422 reported transactions through the Toronto MLS.

The decline in sales was largest in the city and a recent TREB poll would indicate the City Of Toronto's Land Transfer Tax is at the heart of the declining sales
