Builders areoptimistic about our housing market, and for good reason. The number of building permits is rising and developers are purchasing land once again.
And finally, Phoenix is leading the housing recovery. Our housing market was one of the hardest to fall, but we fell first. Being a non-judicial state means that after 6 + missed payments, homes will go to the Trustee's Sale/Auction. Other markets that undergo the judicial process may suffer longer. Hurray for Phoenix!
If if you haven't noticed it, our market is booming. As of today, there are 10,192 single family homes for sale. If I include mobile homes, condos, townhomes & lofts, the total properties for sale tallies at 12,997. We've been hovering in this range since the first of May.
Prices are low, interest rates are at historic lows, but these conditions may not last as demand creeps up. So contact me today if you are interested in Phoenix area Real Estate.

Jan, isn't it amazing the difference a few months makes? The Phoenix real estate market is CRAZY!!! If you compare the numbers now to 2005, you'll find we have even less listings than then. I'm glad the builders are coming back into the market - they were such key factors in the 2004-2006 real estate boom supplying much desired inventory.

Juli - You're right! It is crazy. At least this should fuel some optimism. You'd be amazed how much of the general public does NOT believe this in Phoenix. I'm constantly spewing statistics to an awstruck audience!
