How Savvy is your Social Media? Asheville Moving Company 

A few months back I acquired new clients, Asheville Moving Company. Owned by Bruce Hensley and Clete Flannagan, they are so much fun to work with. And they way out-perform anyone I know in Social Media. It is just out and out amazing, leaving me dizzy!

Every moving job is seen another opportunity to get referrals. Clete is the videographer, and Bruce stands with the people they just moved, right in front of the moving van. They tape a conversation with their latest clients, who are quick to say how great they are. Their You Tube Channel is out and out amazing in the number of video's they have posted. 

Here is the thing I love. They were not tech savvy at first, and they are still pretty crude in the equipment. They use their phones or a small flip camera and sometimes the sound isn't all that great. BUT! they have embraced getting in front of the camera with no fear, and they are showing that people love them and would (and do!) hire them over and over. 

Asheville Movers (my favorite clients!) have embraced Twitter, Facebook and Blogger. The continually talk about local businesses, which they support. They are online all day long via their phones, connected to the world through Social Media. 

When I first got the call from Asheville Moving Company, and they were in need of a website, I made the assumption that they really didn't have much knowledge about online presence. It took about five minutes for them to really blow me away. 

I have learned so much from Bruce and Clete, and I always have fun with them when we meet for coffee or lunch to brainstorm about their business. They are quickly becoming my favorite people, as well as my favorite clients.

My biggest tip from the Asheville Moving Company to you- video does not have to be perfect. It doesn't have to be high tech, or even good. What it has to do is just get you started, and say what you want to say. Do anything, and don't sweat the small stuff. Because if you never start, you will never get better.
