Hey I found this great blog I would love to share with everyone on AR.  I think video's are so much of a under utilized tool and it gets better results than text alone.

Original content by Dave Woodson

I have been using video marketing since late 2007, but only recently turned my powers towards listings.

I am seeing a surge in views, and I am getting better at doing them. In the past, when I did a carcast. I would simply let the camera run and sooner or later I would say something worth keeping, but when I do a listing video I need to make sure that I am some what scripted more importantly I need to sound like I am not reading.

The Ropes for Video Marketing

  1. Script - know your subject: the home, the neighborhood, the sub-division and feature some high lights.
  2. Lighting - in my first video, I had some complaints about that in my last video listing.
  3. Call-To-Action - Always include a call to action to call to set-up a showing or see how they can get their own listing video

The new improved and keeps getting better listing video

Some very good advise.  The internest is the way to go, as a very high percentage of clients view home on the internet first.
