Love seeing the Doe and Fawns at this time of year. Though I'm sure they'd like to join my for a dip in the river to cool off and get ready of those pesky bugs.
It's always lovely to see deer grazing in the field.
Steve, We see lots of deer around our place, but mama deer seems to be good about keeping the fawns under cover.
Such beautiful animals you captured so well in this photo Steve.
Such beautiful creatures. What must life be like to always have to be on high alert?
Sometimes, when I see a scene like that, I'm amazed there are wonderful critters like that which aren't enclosed in a zoo somewhere. When I get to thinking like that, I know it's time for me to get out of the city for awhile! Nice photo!
Hey Steve, great shot...you must have been using your telephoto...I can't imagine them letting you get that close.
Steve and Jan,
That is a beautiful shot. Like the way the doe is keeping a look out. :)

Hi Steve,
This is a beautiful photograph and what a lovely site to come upon. I think deer are so beautiful and run so graceful. I always loved the Bambi movie ...poor Bambi lost his mother.
Thanks guys, This was such a lucky shot. They ran off 3 seconds after I took it. The doe had enough of my presence.
That baby is full of spots - nice shot!
