4 Comments on Come to Kitty Palooza Sacramento July 7-8 and go home happy!
Susan, I hope countless people in Sacramento County read your blog post and come out and buy a kitten from the Sacramento County Animal Shelter this Saturday and Sunday! This is a very worthy cause!!!!!!
Good morning Susan. In my fantasy world there would be forever homes for all cats and dogs. Alas it is a fantasy, but I hope all are adopted and have long and healthy lives.
Bruce - I agree! There is nothing like a pet, and we have always adopted a number of cats.
Sheila - I know that you work toward getting lonely pets loving homes, and I really admire that. We have a steady stream of new members to our cat family. We have domesticated feral cats and taken in abandoned ones, and have had as many as 8 cats in our fur-face family. Right now we are down to two, as we do tend to outlive our pets (even though we don't usually lose them until they are 15-20 years old). This weekend I couldn't get to the Kitty-Palooza, but that won't stop me from checking to see if we can adopt someone who didn't get picked today.
Susan, This sounds like a good cause. I hope you have a great turn out.
