Taking It All In.......Downtown San Diego That Is

Downtown San Diego

While visiting downtown thinking I would be attending the Big Bay Book Fireworks show, I had hours to get around and see what's been happening downtown. I knew the Library ( see the Dome) was under construction but I hadn't been down to take any photos in that area. While parking the car on the roof of the Hilton hotel, I thought I should at least get a few photos of the view. From high enough up to get a good perspective of how the Library would fit in with the Ballpark, the new Pedestrian Bridge and our very cool and efficient trolley system, I think the Library will be a welcome addition.

Beautiful photograph.  It has been many years since we visited San Diego and we need to plan a return trip.

Have an outstanding weekend with your camera in hand.

I'm really glad you took the oportunity to capture these wonderful photos of your city.  The thought of you scouting the perfect spot to take in the fireworks show, working the settings on your camera, and then having the show all go bust within 15 seconds, would have otherwise been a little too much to bear:-)  I love that bridge, with the sail design.   Some cities simply know how to do things right with their infrastructure. . .Others - Not so much!
