Palo Alto homes and condos are leading Silicon Valley in demand due to increased employment in the area and lack of homes for sale in surrounding communities.  Of 58 residential properties now on the market (not including those in escrow), only 15 are priced under $1,000,000.  Out of 15, 12 have been on the market less than 30 days.  That stated, it’s interesting to see that three properties had price reductions this past week and only one property on last week’s list went into escrow.  We’ll have to watch to see if these become a trend.
