What to answer when seller asks: What makes you want to sell my house more than the one next door?

Sold by Lattimer Realty It's no secret that Lattimer Realty dominates the real estate market share in Fairfield, New Jersey. There's not many homes for sale in Fairfield that do not have a Lattimer Realty for sale or sold sign on it which brings no surprise to the question I was asked by a Fairfield homeowner during a pre-listing telephone interview this morning:

Seller: What makes you want to sell my house more than the one next door?

My answer: Lattimer Realty and I do NOT get paid until you do and that's at closing which is why we want to sell every home we list for sale.

You did give a good answer. My answer is close. I would say I don't want to sell it more than any of my listings but I do want to sell it as much. All homes have a unique buyer and my job is to find that buyer for your home.

I like your answer, and Joy's, too. Mine would be to ask them a question..."What makes you think I would want to sell one more than the other and not both equally? Some buyers will like yours and some buyers will like theirs. Having two listings with us next door to one another ensures you'll have more buyers looking at both.
