Happy Birthday Ringo Starr!

If you remain aPeace and love Beatles fan (as I am) you remember Ringo.  He might not have been the best solo vocalist, but he was a super drummer and sang some wonderful harmony lines.

He is still touring as Ringo and the All Stars, and they are fun too.

But I digress!  Today is Ringo's 72nd birthday.  And as usual, he wants everyone to stop what they're doing for a moment and throw up the peace sign with their hand and simply wish the world "Peace and love."

He would like everyone to do this at noon on his birthday each year as their birthday gift to him.  I have to admit that I forgot until I just saw him on TV, and it is not quite noon here in California, so I'll be doing it.  Why not?  It couldn't hurt!
