Alligator Control Agent Spotted Around New Port Richey, Florida -Maybe he was looking for my alligator; I hope he didn't find him. I wonder how many are in there; do they wear seat belts? I can picture it like the kids after a winning soccer game; high-fiving fouring each other, wearing their Gator team caps.

Toni, you must really live in the wild.  Most of us have dog catchers but you have alligator catchers......   Hmmmm.... I think I'll stick with dogs....

Rich - I would too if I were in Maryland.

Fred - I meant for the gators :)

Caron's - gator busters??

Frank - that's because they are the garbage control of the pond kingdoms and search the edges for drowned critters.

Joan - thanks, I think I will except I have to say goodbye to a friend whose home I just sold.

Jeanne & Ralph - It's not so wild but Florida does have it's critters like bears, deer, gators, golfers. :)

Toni,

I am with Roy on that one...have not seen a gator truck here either.  It is part of the Floridain charm to have alligators around.  Have a great Sunday.  A

Kristin - not a job I would apply for :) Hope you having a fun weekend. Did you get to play tennis?

Roger - me too; I kind of got attached to him.

Roy - I should hope not where you are.

Alexandra - alligators are amazing and fascinating animals.

Belinda - we, unfortunately, don't have elk here (deer-small ones) but no elk. Darn.

Toni, my cousin used to live in Florida...there was a pond in his back yard also with a somewhat large 'gator in residence.  Always had to be on the lookout especially because my cousin had a couple of kids.

Gosh Toni,

That's a new one on me! I wonder, are the Wildlife Patrol people like Ghost Busters or something? It would be funny if you could get a photo of those guys dressed up in their uniforms while they try to wrestle an alligator. Have they always been around, or do you think this is one of those newly created jobs created by our Government?

Nice job getting that photo and thanks for the blog post! I enjoyed it as much as I did all the comments! LOL

Toni...

I'm surprised there has not been some kind of reality show featuring these guys!

Have a great day

Toni, I always wonder what they will do with the alligator once they catch one. I know it may sound weird, but I do feel sorry for these creatures when we constantly crowd them out of their habitats.

NIck - we had one years ago in a pond behind us. I fenced in the yard because my son was very young, then found out they can climb the chain link fences.  He actually ate a neighbors dog.

Rob - Check with Larry and Sheila #4; they say there is a show on TV where they guys do this. I've never seen it, I guess.

Dale - I'm still here but I haven't seen Tebow for days.

Silvia - I feel the same way; and as far as I know--they kill them after they catch them. So sad. We need a retirement home for alligators.

Toni: Well, if they get Tebow, I hope he's relocated to a nice place!  I think it's cute that you've taken a proprietary interest in him.  Please keep us posted!  :)
