Speechless Sunday (almost!): Kitty rescue along the canal.

Remnants of a dried up can of tuna was all that was left of this kitty's last meal until our son Spensyr and his girlfriend Mandy happened along the canal in Richfield. This Tabby came out of some brush, meowing and they immediately took her home to get a drink of water and more food until they could figure out what to do.
Of course, they sent me this photo and my heart went out to Canal; her new name. After realizing she was sick, the adults drove to an animal shelter that does not euthanize, where Spensyr and Mandy said their goodbyes and wished her well.
I hope you find your forever home little Canal. Glad to meet you through your rescuers. Thank you Spensyr and Mandy for doing your part to ensure that she survives and thrives, even though I know you wanted (and I wanted) to keep her. It does a heart good.
Happy Sunday to you all!

Hello Wanda,
Poor little Canal, I hope she finds a forever home with a loving family!
Wanda-Canal is such a cutie. I hope she find a forever home. Every animal deserves that.
Wanda
Canal is a cute cat, and I would hope finds a family to care for her.
Good luck and success.
Lou Ludwig
Good afternoon Wanda. Canal could be nick named Lucky as not everyday you find someone who will take the time to make sure a stray is taken care of. Hats off to Spensyr and Mandy.
It must be kitty day in the Rain; I just read a post on Bliz about rescuing 2 kittens. Hope Canal found a good home too.
Wanda,
How wonderful that you were there with Sensyr and Mandy to help this creature in finding her new home. Happy Sunday to you. A
Lisa, Me too!
Sharon, You are so right! Each and every one!
Thank you Lou! This has to have a Happy Ending!
Randy, Yes, I am proud of these two teens!
Teral, I will have to check their post out!
Alexandra, What a sweet little one! I can't imagine abandoning a baby like that!
That is a sickly looking kitten. Hopefully it will find a good home
Hello Wanda, Now that is a cute kitty. Why the big chain, do you think he could escape?
Wanda, thanks for very touching post about Canal. Even though I do not have indoor pets I can't imagine how people can abandon their pets let alone be cruel to them as a story from Philadelphia indicated recently.
Yes, check our Bill & Liz's post about Clyde and Clarence.
Ed, She is definitely on her way!
Will, That is an old horse trailer that has a chain attached to it, not the kitty!
Mary, Liz and Bill's story is a positive one and one of hope for so many animals out there!
Hi Wanda. Let's pray and wish the BEST for Canal to find a new home. You have done a Great Deed for the Day!
Jerry, She is in very good hands. We are hoping for the best outcome for her.
Wanda, that was very kind of your son, Spensyr and his Mandy. The kitten looks cute, once it gets better I hope it finds a loving home.
Chris, Spensyr was on the verge of tears to think thid baby had no one to care for it's basic needs. Hope someone gives it a home.
Hi Wanda,
You raised your son to be a responsible adult and pet lover. I am sure some nice person will want to adopt Canal. Thanks for sharing such a lovely story. Very touching.
Thank you Kristin. Spensyr is a big hearted person who is an animal lover.
