Pine Forest Subdivision is in Putnam County on the west side of Lake Sinclair and the part of the lake closest to Macon. Twin Bridges offers a few things that other areas don't, there's a marina with boat storage and repair, a convenience store right there. The photo to the left was taken from one of the "twin" bridges and the property to the right in the photograph is "Pine Forest Subdivision" The most spectacular part being on Lake Sinclair in Pine Forest Subdivision is that for MUCH of the subdivision the property across the lake is part of the Oconee National Forest and for the foreseeable future will not be deleveloped. That means you get to enjoy Lake Sinclair and the nature it has to offer at it's very best.
If you live off water in Pine Forest you have deeded access to multiple lake lots that offer docks and boat ramps. There are currently some excellend prices in this subdivision both on and off water. And of course there is Twin Bridges Fire Station located just about a quarter mile from the entrance to the subdivision and currently Putnam County EMS keeps an ambulance at the fire department manned and ready to respond.
So if you live in Macon, Gray or Monticello and want a weekend place this area is the closest to you. And like one of my current buyer clients looking in this area... you can also communute to work from this side of the lake to those areas if you want to live on a beautiful lake and aren't ready to retire yet. Pine Forest is just minutes from US Route 441 and US Route 129
