You Must be like the Itsy Bitsy Spider to Succeed in This Business!

In this neat little video on YouTube, Mr. Itsy Bitsy Spider is in a pretty good world to start out with.. flowers are blooming and the sun is shining, all looks rosy, so to speak.  BUT Mr. Spider decides he wants to live a little higher, to rise above where he’s at, so he starts the climb and wham!  here comes the flood and washes him back down.

That waterflood that washed Mr. Spider down could be anything that defeats our climb to where we want to go.  In this video, Mr. Spider prepares a little differently the next time he decides to ascend to where he wants to go.  He gets the training (reads a book) and the equipment necessary to take him there.  He is better prepared to accomplish what he wants to accomplish.

When the waterflood came again, it was still a flood and it still tried to wash him out, but he managed to hang on and make it to the sunshine.

If you were washed down the tube in something that you were trying to achieve in the Real Estate Business, what training and tools did you acquire or are in the process of acquiring?

Here’s to hoping you’re either seeing the sunshine or it’s in your sights while you hang on with that plunger.

Judi: To survive and thrive in this industry you have to be resilient...learning from your mistakes, brushing yourself off after a fall, and getting back up to try again...and again, and again if necessary.

Cute video, I agree with everything Anita has said as well. You have to do your research and stick to it! Dont give up after one or few failed attempts.

Hi Judi, That was very cute and carried a powerful message. If kids could be taught this way, they would be so much better prepared for their futures.

sometimes we just have to keep weaving that web and maybe in the wash out we learn something to take us to the next level!  Real estate is so  unpredictable

Judy, there is a reason so many parents sing that to their little ones!  There is certainly a lesson.

We are an equal sum of our successes and failures.  I think I learn more when I fail then when I succeed.

Judi-That's a good lesson on many levels: persistence, preparation, planning, execution, and setting a goal and not giving up if you don't succeed the first time out.
