Starbucks has opened a new pottery or should I say an pottery that was closed due to China's competition, in East Liverpool Ohio. This was great news for the area because it has high unemployment and the jobs were badly needed. Three cheers for Starbucks......they are now producing coffee mugs for their brand and in-sourcing jobs in this country.
You are not a coffee drinker, not even in the morning? I love coffee and my favorite icecream is coffee. However, I do not drink it all day like others.
Hi Richard, thanks for stopping by. It is good news about Starbucks creating jobs here at home.
We need more people to take the step and help create more jobs.
Hi Winston, not even in the morning. I love the different flavors of tea. I blend my own tea
using fresh , natural ingredients. My favorite ice cream is anything chocolate.
Have a great day.
You blend your own tea? I drink coffee but do prefer tea. I didn't find the ad appealing at all. I do think ads should push the curiosity button
Never touch the stuff. Caffeine is bad and stains the teeth. Matter of fact I drink almost zero caffeine in a year.
Not an ad that would work with me, but I bet the coffee drinks would wonder.
I would bet (again) that a very small percentage is going to create jobs. (Just employee more people with the profits and you are creating jobs. Why waste money with a donation? Because it is a gimmick and they can claim to be helping.)
Not a Huge Starbucks Fan, but I can see many going over to check it out. Especially, all those who a high regard for Starbucks.
The ad does little for me . . . but I do like coffee!
Good morning Irene -
Starbucks is not my thing. I grind my Pinon brew daily at home. Nothing better and doesn't leave me all jacked up to the point of having the shakes.
Hope you have a productive week a head.
yes but your first link federal is not spelled correctly, fderal is how you have it...
Advertising is sometimes used to elicit just awareness by a consumer. An ad campaign could be very subtle about getting the consumer to be aware of a product not decide to buy it (especially if it isn't out yet). Ads tend to evolve in interest and decision making with a call to action if appropriate. Depending on what the goal of the company is, it could be a good ad.
Hi Doug, yes I do blend my own tea I enjoy the different flavors , using fresh fruit . Try it !
Hi Than, they won't get me to try coffee either. Have a great day.
Hi Jerry, I don't understand people paying upwards of $5.00 for a cup of coffee. Why do they sell coffee pots for
the home? Enjoy your day.
Hi David, I did not think much of the ad either, but then they are paying an ad company to promote
July 10, 2012. I guess we will wait and see. Thanks for stopping by.
Hi John, you are right about the caffeine, I guess that's why I don't drink coffee. I could drink
decaf ,but with half a cup cream and 6 tablespoons sugar. That's why I don't drink coffee.
Enjoy your morning cup of coffee.
Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks Mark, the typo was caused by my long red nails slipping off the keys.
Thanks Bryan for stopping by. The ad will not convince me to try coffee. And by the way I don't drink
soda either. It might intice someone if they think a donation is going for a worthy cause.
I always maintain I would give directly to a cause and take the deduction myself instead of "giving" it to an
organization so they get the charity donation.
Have a great day.
