Lynn - those are beautiful too.
John - they are incredible and take your breath away in real life.
Roger - yes, and Thai restaurants like to use them as garnish too.
Alexandra - I guess because of your Mediterranean breezes :) They are lovely to see massed together.
Toni,
I never realized that at one time they were all the same color. The diversity now is amazing.

Toni: There are so many fantastic colored hybrid flowers these days...it makes it much easier to put a flower color scheme into action.
Toni, they sure have changed and the red are still my favorite, next is the yellow ones.
Wow! You captured my attention, Toni. Love your flower photos and the butterflies on your background, too.
PS I am here to stay. See you later.
Howdy and afternoon Toni
Toni my friend, growers sure do come up with mighty fine looking new colors for the different kinds of flowers. Those sure are mighty good looking variety of Hibiscus you have shared with folks.
I do know about Hibiscus Tea and being able to eat the petals. I did not know it is also known by the name of Rose-mallow.
Have a good one
Dale in New Hampshire
Rich - the old ones are still pretty to have in the yard.
Anita - so true; not just red, pink, white anymore.
Rebecca - I love the yellow ones and the peach ones too.
Mary - that's great news. We will have lots of fun again.
Dale - it is from the species Mallow so I guess that's how it came to be Rose-Mallow.
Toni, those are really beautiful! I have some multi-colored geraniums on my back porch, and sure do add color! Happy Monday my friend, hope you have a productive week!
Toni, Those are some beautiful flowers! Have a great night!
Joan - I love the multi colored geraniums. When we lived in LA, my front garden was a riot of color with them.
Tony - they sure are. Have a successful week!
Good Evening Toni, Great pictures, reminds me of my mother flower beds in Penna. Sure miss them.
William - I found your post on the Bryon Hill and commented, it sure is a beauty and I will be looking out for it.

HI Toni. Thanks for sharing the photos, they are beautiful flowers. We see them here in NC in containers to decorate a deck or a patio.
Toni: Lovely photos, as always, and thank you for sharing! I have had hibiscus tea- it's good, although I'm more of a "Bengal spice" man. :)
Good morning, Toni. What wonderful photos and information on Hibiscus. Thank you for sharing the beauty with us. Wishing you a great day ahead.

Andrew - thank you. I sort of figured that of you :)

Very pretty photos and interesting information. Good suggestion for people to plant them to help sell their home.
Toni, I'm so glad you posted these photos. I'm only familiar with those deep reddish ones. They really remind me of Florida.
JoAnn - they do brighten up a garden.
Mona - They are very Florida; thanks for pointing that out!
