FORECLOSURE AND SHORT SALE LISTINGS PLUMMET BY MORE THAN 150% IN CORONA CA

The Corona real estate market has made a drastic shift in 2012, with foreclosure and short sale listings plummeting by a combined total of more than 150% since January.

The month over month numbers remained fairly consistent with the total number of active real estate listings in Corona, California showing almost no movement from May to June, 2012. However, there was a noticeable change in the mix of listing type, with foreclosure listings dropping by over 45%, and an increase in the number of standard and short sale real estate listings in Corona, from May to June.

PENDING REAL ESTATE SALES DECREASE IN CORONA CA

Although pending real estate sales in Corona decreased slightly from May to June 2012, the total number of real estate listings in pending and back up status was still 26% higher than the total in January of this year. The largest jump in pending real estate sales in Corona is within the standard real estate listing category, which is 67.8% higher than the number of standard, pending sales at the end of January 2012. It appears that buyers are opting for standard sales and short sales, where they'll have less competition from real estate investors with all cash offers.

Real estate sales were consistent from May to June 2012, in Corona California, however, there was a change in the types of listings that sold month over month; As we've been seeing with surrounding areas, the number of Corona, California foreclosure sales declined from May to June, while the number of standard real estate sales and short sales increased slightly.

Corona real estate sales in June 2012 remained 55% higher than the number of sales posted at the end of January 2012.
