The sun was pretty brutal today for those working on construction projects outside. It was good to see that the sun finally began to retreat over the horizon. Of course, we get to do this again tomorrow.

We are anticipating temperatures to reach 106 in Sacramento. This is going to be good.

Tom, what a beautiful sunset.  Yes... today was a hot one.  If you are out in the heat... remember to keep yourself hydrated.  Lots of water.  No sense flirting with heat exhaustion.

Ugh - that's WAY too hot. People here are whining because it's up into the 80's and low 90's.

I know that people in Sacramento and other cities are suffering from the extreme heat this summer.  That's normal for Dallas, but we have learned to adjust our lifestyle, during the hot months.  Stay cool!  That is a gorgeous sunset!

Saw the same sunset Tom, it looked like a fireball in the sky! Hope you can stay cool and drink lots of water. We always 'feel' for the guys doing construction when the temps reach this high. No wonder we see lots of them with wet towels on their heads!

Thanks for the advise Carolyn.

It is pretty hot isn't it Marte.

Thanks Sharon.

I think 106 qualifies as too hot Sheila.
