Are YOU a Part of the Entitlement Generation? I DISPUTE THAT PREMISE!
Home Owners Who Walk Aren't The Entitlement Genration. THE BANKS That Bought And Paid For The Politicians Are.
The banks and Wall Street Gangs got away with making Billions on bad mortgages.
The government paid them $Billions of tax payers (HOMEOWNERS' MONEY) to bail them out.
Who bailed out the home owners who saw their financial future evaporate in a year or so? No one.
Who bailed out the home owners who got the advice, "Don't worry, you'll be able to refinance in a year or so"??
Who bailed out the home owner who is trapped, a prisoner of a mortgage on a home with half the value as when they bought.
If the government wanted to bail anyone out, it should have been the home owners of America. The banks paid the politicians for the pleasure of their bail-out.
Why were the bankruptcy laws not amended to permit principle reduction by the judge?? Because the banks paid the politicians to support the banks.
I dispute the premise of this post. It turns the home owners who protect their own financial future into culprits rather than victims of the massive financial fraud that was worked on them by the Wall Street Gangs and the Politicians.

Are YOU a Part of the Entitlement Generation?
Quick rant here, people.
I've been hearing for the last few years about the "entitlement generation." In fact, I totally agree with it. (call me, I'll tell you my personal situation about it)
I understand when a homeowner has a situation where they can't pay their mortgage anymore. Hospital bills, loss of job, etc. play a part in that.
What I'm talking about here is the people who happen to Owe more than their house (or condo) is worth, and has decided that they just won't pay for it anymore.
Where, in the closing documents that you signed, does it say that the home/condo that you're purchasing will always go up in value?
If you can't make the payments for a reason, this isn't for you.
If nothings changed, and you just want to stop paying for something that isn't the "value" you thought it was, then this is totally for you.
Suck it up, people. Pay what you agreed to purchase.
Karma's a bitch.
