The June Home sales report by the Intermountain MLS indicates that Boise Idaho Real Estate is still trending upward from average sales price to the number of homes selling.
Local industry professionals continue to be encouraged by all the improvements in the market but wonder how long it will last? "We have been here before, with the market rising quickly" Trey Langford, founder of BuildIdaho.com, said, "and the result was years of frustration from home buyers to sellers and those in the industry."
The June 2011 report indicated 690 homes sold, up 55 from the previous year. Overall 2012 home sales continue to show momentum at 3,333 YTD which is almost 10% more than the previous year. The average sales price was $208,906 in June 2012 compared to $188,236 in 2011, a $20,670 increase.
BuildIdaho.com's Boise Idaho Real Estate snapshot easily depicts that the increase in demand and declining availability of homes for sale in Boise Idaho is causing home values to rise. New Home Sales were also up, almost 50% and $20k.
