Zsa Zsa Gabor Kitty Meets Sally Home Stager Vancouver

Home staging with cat

If looks could kill, this Vancouver Home Stager would certainly be dead by now!  We recently staged a condo on Vancouver's Westside.  The home owner went out while we worked our magic, but resident kitty stayed to watch over us, making sure we didn't touch her feather ball with the bell in it, or her food dish!  She was certainly not happy that we were moving furniture around to create a better flow, and bringing some rental furniture in to create a lighter, brighter space.   This beautiful kitty was staring daggers at us, and couldn't wait for us to depart so she could sleep in peace.

I'm not sure what this kitty's real name was, but if I were to name her, it would certainly be Zsa Zsa Gabor.  You could almost hear her say "Dahrlink, ven on earths ah you goink to leave?  My Champagne is gettink varm!"  The funniest thing was no sooner had we place the faux cashmere throw on the rental sofa, than Miss Zsa Zsa leapt up on the sofa, snuggled herself up into a tight ball, and dared us to shoo her off. Suffice it to say, we left her sleeping soundly on the throw while we tip toed out of the condo, lest we distrub her...

Do you have any funny kitty stories?

Anna - Imagine if we introduced your handsome cat to Zsa Zsa - what amazing kittens they would produce...

Shar - Isn't she, though?  I love Sally the St. Bernard stories!!!

Patricia - Don't they though?  It's amazing how they keep us in line!

Sally,

I think she looks like a Zsa Zsa too!  She's a beauty.

Have a great Thursday!

Sally. Now there is one cat that is living THE life on easy street. LOL

How funny, Sally. I love kitties, but our coyotes do, too so no cats here - just 2 goofy golden retrievers. I'm sure Zsa Zsa would be repulsed:)

Dee Dee - Isn't she pretty?  Some felines get all the looks!

Valerie - Oh yes, talk about the life of Riley!  Gee, maybe that should be her name...

Kim - We actually have coyotes here, too!  I saw one loping down my street just the other day.  Zsa Zsa is an indoor cat, so no worries there.  Ha ha - yes, I'm sure Zsa Zsa would be thoroughly irritated by two rambunctios retrievers!

Sally - That's pretty funny. I have four cats so I could probably give a lot of funny cat stories, but then I'll just seem like the crazy cat lady. (Which is probably accurate.)

Sally...I was relieved when you mentioned rental furnture.  Did you give her the eye regarding leaving the accesories alone?  ;-)

Melissa - Oh, come on, give us some cat stories - you're among friends!

David - So good to hear from you!  Hey, did you hear that the RESA Conference is being held in San Francisco next year?  You are so not safe!

I tried to give Zsa Zsa the eye regarding leaving the accessories alone, but you know how much damage one swish of the tail can cause?!!!

I've had cats and dogs circling around me while on the job....don't care for either when I'm working thank you!

As for cat stories....

A good friend of mine moved from one condo to another and her very nervous cat moved with her.  The cat woke her up their first morning in the new home very early.  My friend pushed her off the bed and went back to sleep.  She has never seen the cat since.  When she got up the cat was no where to be found.  No idea where it went.  No explanation....just gone.  Door had not been opened, and no openings to the outside were found anywhere in the condo.

How cute Sally! What a gorgeous kitty cat. It always cracks me up when you see House Hunters and there's a cat perched on top of the fridge or on a bed just sleeping away while they are filming! This kitty was obviously ready for her close up.... action! ;) Hopefully she won't leave fur balls on your pillows!

Tessa - Oh yes, this kitty was loving the attention and made herself look particularly appealing for the photo!  I made sure I got her good side!

Sally - Mis Zsa Zsa Gabor looks very comfy in what I'm sure is a very expensive throw! She is quite beautiful though, but no one want to be stared down while staging - how rude of her! lol.

Kristine - Only the best of throws for Miss Zsa Zsa!  She is very beautiful, and I think she knows it!

Cute story Sally and cuter photo of Zsa Zsa and your throw.  My cats would do EXACTLY that after they came out from hiding and you were gone.
