Asking Quality Questions

“Quality questions create a quality life, successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get the answers.”

Anthony Robbins, Author, Self-Help Expert and Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Asking quality questions

Successful sales professionals are professional negotiators.

Successful professional negotiators ask quality questions and get better answers. By asking quality questions you gather useful information and increase our knowledge.

The person that asks the quality questions in the negotiating process gathers useful information and creates a platform for successful negotiations. The person in the negotiating process that accumulates the best information is in control of the negotiating process. Their information will create a strategic advantage in the negotiations and have a major influence on the outcome of the negotiations.

By asking quality questions you’ll create an insight to the person and or entity that you’re negotiating with. By asking the question you will have better understand the person’s wants, needs and motivation which will create a strategic advantage in the negotiations for you.

Master the art of negotiating and asking quality questions and you will find yourself in control of the negotiating progress.

A person who is skilled at asking great questions is very valuable especially during a negotiation as you stated.  It takes practice to guide the conversation in the way you want it to go.

Lou, do folks ask lousy questions on purpose?   In the same vein, advocate writing better blogs and being more articulate. ;)   Brian

Hi Lou, "Asking Quality Questions" is an Art alright. This is something that comes with experience I am sure. Anthony Robbins has always been a great motivator and trainer in my books.
