Yay indeed! I was talking to our managing broker the other day and she told me that our office was the top office last month in sales, over 21 other offices! I suspected things were going well as every time I walked by her office the pile of contracts on her desk awaiting review was tall enough to cause severe bodily damage if it toppled over on her.
So Yay us! But, why are there many agents not participating in the revelry? We have sixty some active agents in this office. I would bet you that half of these agents are not seeing the pick up in business. Why? Well, most of you reading this already know. These agents are the ones that are too busy to return a phone call. These are the agents that take the summer off. These are the agents who have not been cultivating their business early in the year so they have nothing to harvest now.
I really can see a slow down coming in late August. But, if my team keeps working every day to build our business, the slowdown for us will look like we are really busy to the others not working towards this goal.
So, Yay us! I am thrilled to be busy and hope that it continues through this year. Good luck to us all!
