The Light, The Storm, The Rain and The Mountains"

 

 

The photo above entitled "The Light, The Storm, The Rain and The Mountains" taken from our cabin-  (in NOT typical weather for Asheville, July, 2012 ) was caught via  my SONY Cyber-shot . It reminds me of events over  a lifetime.  We see the mountains- their rocky surfaces pushed up by tectonic forces then, eroded by wind and rain, and sculpted by rushing waters- they settle into layers. This constant and powerful process over time is as the changes in our lives 365 days a year, every year... and...somehow I feel as if I could take flight...as

 

"just a tiny part of it all... impacted by such long-term events- such as the confirmation of the Higgs-Boson this very month.
