28 Comments on 14% of my website users are Ipad users
You amaze me girl............I didn't even know you could check those statistics.............I'm impressed with several things about this post!
Those are amazing numbers, I would not have believed that. Guess that means I better look into how I caan take advantage of this situation.
Donna - You definitely need to get it. It's free. It's not a widget. You need to go to google analytics, open acct and get the source code and paste it into your site. It gives you instructions (although I found them challenging to use).
Patricia - Yes, I see it being used more and more often by agents and by my customers. I just didn't realize it already accounted for 14% of my clicks.
Jane - Thx. You're sweet.
Tom - Thx. I think I'm going to have to cave on this soon. I think I need this to help visualize stuff for my customers.
Roger - Thx. You're so nice.
Joe - I know. And, my other site shows similar figures.
It had not occurred to me, and likely to most people, that something would have a different appearance on an Ipad than on a computer screen! Oh no!
Jay - I konw. I'm glad I'm using larger font in my blogs now...but I think my earlier posts on that site are smaller, so at some point, I will need to go back and make them larger. I need to borrow someone's iPad next week for sure.
Just amazing Debbie...something happened to my google analytics...i need to re-load them...good catch on the ipad.
Ginny - Oh yes, I hope you solve that quickly. Thx.
Hi, Debbie! I included this post in Last Week's Favorites. Have a great week.
Hi Debbie,
this is amazing! I know we have to keep up with technology.... I better get my research started.
Tatyana
Patricia - Thx so much.
Tatyana - Me too!
Mobile is huge now and optimizing one's site for it is vital. And, by the way, it isn't easy :(
Evelyn - Good for you.
Jane - I know...and it's even harder when I don't have an iPad to view it on.
I've noticed a lot more mobile users visiting my site as well. I plan to optimize my new site for mobil. It is the future.
Gary - smart thinking. I need to look into this more.
Debbie- I noticed on my iPad that AR has one view then if you scroll down to the bottom of the page you can click to see the normal AR view.
I am on my second Ipad (first one is flying around the world somewhere on us airways) and really enjoy using if for my business. I could do almost anything with it, though without FLASH capabilities it gave me problems on some sites. It seems that most sites are making their sites ipad capable. Ipad also has several apps available that makes it work even with Flash web sites. I can "almost" work my whole business off my Ipad.
Kathy - interesting. I still need to borrow one.
Jon - Sorry abt the 2nd one. Excellent pt on the flash. I'm cool on my WP site, but I think my other site has a bit of flash on the home page. However, most people don't enter via the home page on my site. I really need to check things out on AR, my WP site and my other site.
Debbie~ Do you have Google Analytics on your outside blog?
Donna - On my outside blog, yes. On AR, you can't. On my reg website and WP blog, yes.
