Credit Suisse Monthly Survey of Real Estate Agents -- June 2012 Results

The results bear some good news:  The traffic remains above expectations for real estate agents.

Well, that is a difference from a year ago!

As with the old saying "You can never be too rich or two thin" -- add you can never have enough traffic to the old adage!

The results for Portland, OR begin on Page 37.  Some highlights:

  • Less time needed to sell a home in June
  • Higher prices, flat incentives
  • Traffic above expectation

This is good news for the Portland real estate market . . .

Buyers need to look at this market realistically. 

To sum up:  Buyers are out and properties aren't sitting on the market waiting for a low-ball offer.
