Thanks, Roger. It was a sad loss.
By the way you write I know you enjoy blogging but it's sounds like your businesses are going well and keeping you busy. Blogging can create clients but you must serve you clients first because your best source of new business will always be you current clients.
They really have been, Alan. Ironically, the SEO info I've learned from AR has boosted my electrical contracting business to the top of the page on Google. It's getting a lot of attention. There is a lot more competition for real estate positions, but we're moving up there too. Have a great week.
Mike - so sorry to hear a dear friend (and so young) passed, but leave it to you to be out in your community helping others while you're grieving, running your own business and spending time with your son teaching him about giving back! Your sense of community always amazes and inspires me to get more involved. It's amazing you had time to write this blog, but thanks for updating us on what's going on and my sincere condolences.
Thanks, Kris. It has been a crazy summer around here. I hope you're doing well.
Hi Mike, I'm glad to see you around! It's just like you said, sometimes everything just runs smoothly and by some miracle everything works itself out nicely but every so often, things happen all at once. It's all about priorities at that point: I'd say being there for the family of a close friend is more important than keeping your blogging schedule. I was sorry to hear about your friend Mike - I am sure you were able to provide much needed comfort.
It does go that way sometimes, Andrea. I was glad to be there for the family. I just received the note below in an email:
"Mike,
Thank you so much for the beautiful words and ceremony yesterday! It meant the world to me and my family! I did not get to catch you afterwards to properly thank you but it did mean the world to me and I am sure my mother would be so proud. You are an incredible person and I am so thankful you have become such an instrumental part of our family."
Mike, it dawned on me earlier that I had not seen any posts by you. Glad to read the update. When it gets crazy, some thing must go. Sorry to hear about Rhonda and I will also say a prayer for you because the stress of being busy also takes its toll. Be well.
Cal
That sounds like a pretty busy schedule, Mark. I totally understand.
Thanks, Cal. Hopefully, this week will be a little lighter toward the end of the week.
Weather has been playing havoc all over the country. Careful with those power-lines. I heard today Houston has been getting allot of rain, wish we could have a little over our way here at Canyon Lake TX. It has been all around us but only an inch so far.
Carl, we had a real deluge this afternoon. I expected to see vehicles under water. It was quite a downpour.
Sorry about your week, especially your friend's passing, way too young. You come back when you can.
Thanks, Jill. This one is going to start out the same way, but I would imagine by the end of the week things will get back to normal. Have a great week.
Hi Mike. It happens to a lot of business owners. You work at building your business. Then all of a sudden the tail is wagging the dog because you are so busy. Good luck.
Morning Mike enjoy the mayhem while you can. It is better than no work at all but being busy can start getting confusing as to where you are going to be at any given time. Enjoy the day
Thanks, Conrad. That has definitely happened lately.
You are right, James. This week should settle things down a bit. I think. 8-)
Hello Mike,
Hang in there, your personal strength will see you through these many challenges!
Mike. As you can see I've been sparse with my blogs also...
You're a sweetheart, Lisa. Thank you.
I hope that means you're busy and not off goofing off somewhere, Cheryl. 8-) I hope to get down your way sometime in August to check out one of Cindy Jones restaurants (from her blog). I'd love to catch up.
