Bok Choy, Superfood!

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Realty Center

Although the peak season for Bok Choy is March to June, I still love this super food!  Next time you are at the market, pick some up and enjoy!

Major Nutrients:  Bok Choy is one of the top five most nutrient dense super foods.  So load up and try it in a variety of ways.

Ultimate Skin Care:  One cup of shredded raw bok choy has about half the daily requirement of vitamins A (to ward off skin cancer), C (to boost collagen production), and D (to protect against sun damage).  Who knew?

Kristin,

I grew it in my garden last year and loved using it in homemade eggrolls.  Super yummy!

I regularly eat things that are good for me, but I have to draw the line somewhere, and this would be it.  No offense meant at all, Kristin!  Great post and pretty smart, too!
