Talking about yourself are you. Smiling
Growing and learning are such important opportunities for us. I have found if I am willing to listen, I will also learn. But reading is the way to unlock our learning. Thanks Gary.

An interesting bit of information was pointed out recently where wealth was measured by the number of books you owned. This concept was from the perceptions in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries whether you knew how to read or not. It may have even been read in one of your posts Gary. Thank you for encouraging me to pick one up (and read it) a little more frequently.
A man after my own heart!! I counted - I have 32 bookcases in my house but it's not nearly enough - I'm packing books in boxes for the day I can get built-in bookcases built.
Funny - at open houses I watch customers searching from room to room - all atwitter when they can't find a TV. I realized I can relate to the feeling - when I'm in a house or a condo and discover there's not a book to be found it almost makes me feel like I can't breathe.

PS - love that you mentioned the backs of cereal boxes - any voracious (no pun intended!!) reader can relate!!
