Home Staging Tips in Boynton Beach-If They Can’t See It, They Won’t Come!
Once you’ve decided to sell your home in Boynton Beach and you’ve prepared your home for sale... the next thing is to make sure your home is seen. After all, if the Buyers can’t see your home... they won’t come.
The other day as I was driving home from our walk I noticed a young girl waving a sign for “Car Wash $15”. This is what it looked like:
The ink was so light you could barely read the sign.
No one could see it. We passed by before we figured out what the sign said. I thought of all of the kids waiting, towels in hand, to wash cars to raise funds for their school or group.
Don’t let the same thing happen to your house, especially after you’ve done what you can to prepare your home for sale. You need to make sure your Buyers will be able to see your house.
TIP #1 Evaluate your Curb Appeal! Buyers have been known to drive on by if they pull up to your house and the outside screams “NEGLECT”. As we all know, plants seem to grow overnight in Florida.
Trim bushes and trees that are overwhelming our house.
Grass it up! If your lawn is anything but green, now is the time to go
green...resod it if you have to.
Jazz it up! Add some color with heat and salt tolerant plants and flowers.
Entice them with Your Entry: Replace hardware if necessary.
Tip #2 How is your Internet Appearance? You’ve heard that about 87%
of today’s buyers begin their search on the Internet. If they can’t see your
house, they won't come.
Make sure the photos in your MLS listing are good enough to
make a buyer want to call their agent to set up and showing.
Poor photography and poorly styled rooms do little to make someone want
to schedule an appointment.
Many MLS services limit the number of photos and at the same
time require a minimum number. Buyers will be on to you if there
are few photos or if most of the photos are of your amenity areas, entry
and club house. Show your space... that’s what the Buyers are
