Nice job, Mike.

We get a few hawks passing through suburbia from time to time.

When I see them eyeballing my bluebirds, I shoo them.

Mike,

Thanks for commenting.  We don't have bluebirds, but we do have the red tailed hawks you have back east.

Gayle,

Come visit!  Tucson's a great place.

Dan,

Thanks for stopping by to comment.  It'a always good to see you.

Gail,

You're welcome.  So who will you root for to take it all in the superbowl now that your guys are out?

Jesse & Kathy,

This would be the perfect time to visit.  Are you getting daylight yet, or are we hogging it all down here?  LOL

Deb,

The desert museum is constantly upgrading; you ought to make it a point to visit.  Call me, though, before you come.  We'll make you welcome!

Katerina,

I'd love to visit the parrot jungle there in Florida!

Bob & Carolin,

Thanks for commenting.  We could set up an AR group tour next time you visit Tucson!

Eric,

I knew you'd like this post!  Thanks for commenting.

Great post Mike:

Good work really enjoyed it. I spent most of my life in Arizona. Mostly around Phoenix but made many many trips to Tucson for business meetings and to see friends. It was a second home.

Mike -- congratulations on the busy day noted in you last post as well as this fun video. So, how did you do it? My tech resolution for 2007 was to learn to blog. Now, my tech resolution for 2008 is to learn to do videos in the blogs.

Mike: You're hogging it all. Actually we broke the '5 hours of possible sunlight' barrier today. Tomorrow, we'll have 5 hours and 6 minutes... of possible sunshine.

Marlene,

You do have a way with words!  Thanks for commenting.

Jesse & Kathy,

You're right; we're hogging all the sunlight down here in Tucson!  Come visit.  You can take some home with you.  Six more minutes of "possible sunlight" every day...  spring's coming.

Linda,

The western diamondback rattler was five feet long the last time I saw him.

Thank you for the lovely pictures of the museum. I remember spending a day there when I visited Phoenix and thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the plants and flowers in the "desert."
