Last week, we took some time off to support a charitable organization (ORT America) and took a
private tour of Wrigley Field and then had dinner at nearby Goose Island Brewery
where we enjoyed conversation from sports
announcers Dan Bernstein (radio 670 The Score, CBS) and Jim Memelo (radio 720 WGN) .
Living in NW Indiana, The City of Chicago is commuting distance by car or train to the windy city if you are
looking for an evening excursion to a Chicago Cubs Baseball game or other things to do!
This trip to Wrigleyville was 1.5 hour drive from Valparaiso, IN during a non-rush hour commute.
Living in NW Indiana has it's advantages... with lower property taxes and a more financially stable state government than our neighboring state of IL.... many choose to live in NWI, yet enjoy the many amenities of the big city nearby!
