Market Recovery - By the Time You Read About It, It’s Old News -

Like any market recovery, the buying public is skiddish to make a decision.  Then when the market begins to recovery, everyone wants “in.”

The Housing Market is no different than the Stock Market in that it’s sometimes difficult for the public to know when to buy or when to sell.  Watching and reading the news produces different signals and can be confusing.

Today, the Wall Street Journal tells us that the Housing Market has ended its downward slide and is on it’s way to recovery.  Seems like a solid choice for information.Phoenix in the News  But know that by the time you read the news, it’s already happened.

If you’re in the market to buy real estate in the Scottsdale and Phoenix area, how do you know when it’s too early or too late? Do you trust your neighbor, your barber, the checker at the grocery store?  No.   You trust the professionals who are knee deep in the real estate market on a daily basis in Scottsdale and Phoenix.

A real estate agent can produce facts and figures showing what the market is doing in a particular area.  Trust the facts produced by a seasoned professional and you’ll feel confident making a good decision.

It's easy to see the housing and the frenzy, but do you really feel it. I don't feel it something just does not feel other than an artificial stimulation. Once that really runs out, then what? Where are the jobs and who is working and producing? One half sits watching Dr.Oz and the other sits at a terminal.

Winston:  Yes, we really feel it in Phoenix.  I've been in multiple offer situations all year.  Plus, the inventory has dropped drastically.  I subscribe to Michael Orr, Cromford Reports, who specifically states that we are out of the woods and that we'll have a new construction shortage!

We like your statement  "trust the professionals who are knee deep in the real estate market" ...that's the best way to keep in touch with what's really going on in the local markets!
