5 Comments on Clutter, Typical? (Perspectives on Real Estate and More from a Home Staging Pro)
I just think that people overall have too much stuff, not enough time to enjoy it - or move it - or clean it.
Kathy - I love these pictures!! I was actually reading an article late last night about de-cluttering and look forward to facing the challenge. :-)
I am one of the rare people who doesn't have a lot of clutter. I go to the mail box and go straight to the trash can while I sort. The kids bring home 100's of drawings, we pick one to go on the frige and either throw the old one away if it isn't THAT special, or we file it in a binder for later memories. Now, my husband is another story. He leaves things everywhere and then can't find them...then I get the "have you seen X,X,X" Argh!
Lyn, yes many of us have too much stuff. What do you do when you've inherited so many beautiful things? It is hard to let any piece of history go!
Thank you Brenda! All this talk of clutter is giving me the itch to clean out my office. You wouldn't believe!
Shannon, I admire and curse you at the same time!
Comparing the sale of a vehicle to a house is a great visual. Good article.
