red bar graph trending up cartoonThe snap shot of the Alameda market shows that the number of new homes on the market last week increased to 20 since the previous week total of 10.  All statistics are very close to last week’s statistics, except the there the average number of days on the market has decreased from last week(26) to 18 days.



Average sales prices has risen this week from $507,265 the previous week to the current week’s sales price of $540,461.  A snap shot of the Alameda real estate market does not show a true picture of the market trend.  More time is needed to determine trends.

Hi Evelyn ---- I like the format of your Alameda real estate market update.  This snap shot provides some good basic information and can prompt a more in depth conversation with prospective buyers and sellers which in my opinion is the reason the public needs us.  It's the story behind the numbers that makes the difference for them.

Michael:  Thanks, I have been using this format for about 2 months.  It is a weekly report, so graphs won't work.  The numbers give a buyer an idea of how the market is flowing.
