The number of mortgages entering the foreclosure process in June 2012, rose 4 percent to 104,294 compared with a year ago--the second month in a row foreclosure starts were up over the year--according to RealtyTrac report. The month over month statistics look a little better: Foreclosure starts -- notices of default or schedule auctions fell 4 percent in June 2012 when compared to May 2012, 109,051 properties..
