Yolanda, I'm with you. Manufacturing is what this country was built on. This is a subject very near to me as my husband is an American manufacturer. It remains very difficult as long as people are willing to pay low prices for low-quality junk.

Yolanda my friend, that there sure is a mighty fine looking meal! Our Great Country sure was build by folks with Small Businesses and Small Business Owner sure are the Backbone of the Economy of America!!!
I really beliveve no matter which Political Party the Politicians are with, they are only want the job for the Big Money they get, and don't care about the hard working everyday folks! They all will say what folks want to hear to get into Office, and then do what will help themseleves and their friends!

Yolanda - Your family sounds a lot like my family. We have a wide scale of political viewpoints held by our family members. But, we all miss the America of the past, where we created so many of our own goods, and empowered our people with jobs to support their families. I have concerns that should capitalism come under threat in this country, it will have been because of corruption and greed.
Perhaps, your dinnertime topics should be changed to food and travel.

Yolanda, Capitalism and competition are good things. We do really need to bring back the manufacturing and industrial jobs that made this the greatest nation on Earth.

Dinner here is never boring to say the least. Small business is the main driver of our economy and Politicians who do not understand or support small business needs to go away permanently.
That lobster looks so good! I like lobster but I don't eat it often because I feel so guilty eating those little animals.
