There are many Realtors who fail to run their business as - well - a business... Myself included on a few days.
So, there are some things that can be done, one major thing is to work from a PLAN
Plan Stands for:
Prospect for business (I know - I thought listings grew on trees too)
Lead Followup that means calling people back folks...
Appointments As in you have to go on more, meeting with sellers and buyers is what get your listings sold (so this is highly beneficial for your clients).
Negotiating. now that is one of the critical jobs of a Realtor, and one you better work on being good at.
So, this is what a "Business" plan looks like, and something that will immensely improve my business. That said, working the sale of real estate without embracing the internet, is downright insane, aso make sure your agent know how to promote - and I mean PROMOTE your property or negotiate for your purchase!
