400 Blue Hill Avenue Milton MA 02186Milton has many wonderful homes in all price ranges.  People flock to Milton from the city because of the great schools and the wonderful town which was named the number 2 town in the country last year by CNN Money.  The community just celebrated it’s 350 year anniversary.  The Suffolk Resolves which were the precursor to our Declaration of Independence was created and signed in Milton.  The town is the home of our current Governor Deval Patrick.  It is a diverse and open community with outdoor living, indoor skating and a wonderful community pool.

400 Blue Hill Avenue Milton MA 02186Quite typically this is a first time home buyers price range, but not always.  This particular price range has a lot of distressed homes that were worth more but have fallen into the price range because of disrepair, foreclosure or short sale status.  Back a couple of years ago first time home buyers were flocking to the short sales and the foreclosures hoping to get a great deal.  They were wrong, many of them. Buying a distressed property can be a financial drain.  If you are just thinking of the price point of the purchase, they seem like a deal, but if you calculate the cost to put the homes is good condition you are paying much more.

The trick is to find and move into a home that is all set.  400 Blue Hill Avenue is a move-in ready home.  You are paying for  a home that is not in deed of repairs or modification, unless, of course you want some specific improvement  When you are out there looking at homes make sure to look at all the homes in your price range and pick the best.  If you are spending $400,000 or less I expect to see you at 400 Blue Hill Avenue to see just how much your money can buy with not extra going out of your pocket once you close.  400 Blue Hill Avenue in Milton MA 02186 is a gem in this price range.

Thanks Wayne, a lot of hockey gets played here in Boston area and that gear takes on a life of it's own from mid season on.  Most mothers would love  to not have it in the house at all. With this home it can come in downstairs and the washer and dryer is right there.  Kind of a no brainer, don't you think?
