Spring Hill Rotary Members Bowl in Sherriff's Fundraiser

The Hernando County Sheriff's Office hosted its annual Bowling Extravaganza last weekend to raise funds for the nonprofit Youth Education Services (YES).

It's always a fun event that members of the Rotary Club of Spring Hill, Florida, have participated in for many years. This year, the team received active support from members of the Rotary Interact Club of Springstead High School.

The guiding principle of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.

The Interact Club of Springstead High School is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Spring Hill. Interact is the Rotary organization for youth between the ages of 12 to 18. While Interact Clubs are sponsored, they are independently run.

The Rotary Club of Spring Hill, Florida, meets every Thursday at 7:45 AM at IHOP Restaurant, US 19/Commercial Way, in Spring Hill. Guests are welcome!

Joan, our Rotary members have participated in thesis event for many years! Sandy, that's wonderful! Interact is a great organization for our Young people to get involved in. Alexandra, I bowl about twice a year and it shows! Lol Kathy, I think that's the key, you have to have fun or it's not worth doing. Karen, I would love to hear more about your bike project! Our Interact members are very involved in their own projects but we also do some joint events.
