The Carolina Farm Stewardship Association (CFSA) founded in 1979, is the oldest and largest sustainable agriculture organization in the Southeast. The organization has farmer-driven, membership-based 501(c)(3) non-profit status. It helps people in the Carolinas grow and eat local, organic foods. (LOVE THAT! )

Farm Bill
The Farm Bill is a massive piece of legislation that comes up every five years or so, and sets US policy for everything from food stamps and school lunches, to soil and water conservation, to subsidies for growing certain crops, to beginning farmer support programs, and so much more.
