Jeff,

I came across your blog, and you seem to know an extensive amout about the area.  I was just curious if you may know of any information on the La Costa Fairways condo project that is currently being constructed on La Costa (just east of Albertsons past the 35mph curve).  I would appreciate it if you had any info on this project, as I currently live in the area and have a family member that may be interested.  I have looked around for a website ( I believe the sign says MER construction).  I have not been able to find any info on these, and it looks like they are well under roof (as of 11/09)

Gary - feel free to email me offline if you want more information. There is no detail yet on pricing and such on these properties but I am investigating. Hard to say what the pricing will be, given the location (especailly those on the golfcourse) and without knowing square footage, but I would think at least in the high $500s to $600s, perhaps higher.

But there are other new constructions homes (townhomes) in La Costa Greens as well as some detached new construction homes in a variety of price ranges in Carlsbad (high $400s to mid $500s for townhomes, $500s to $800s for detached homes.
