So now I am old....

By

My son who is a recent graduate from Texas A&M University, who has a degree in Finance is now addicted to the stock market! I told him to be careful, he also picking out places for us to invest in real estate! No worries there because I am not buying a home that he can live in and pay rent that would be fun! NOT! His infamous words to me tonight were that I was so old so that I had to buy stock that had a high dividend yield! Kids you gotta love them! Why did I have them; oh yeah it seemed like a good idea at the time!

I love my kids and all this is said with tongue in cheek!

LOL that's funny!

My daughter calls me cheese. I'm old and moldy. It's kind of a joke because I tell cheesy jokes. Yeah, they remind you how old you are all the time. Sometimes they are cute. They say but mom, you're cool even though you are old. You only look 35 anyway!  Yeah, you gotta love 'em.

I totally agree with Roy above. You are not quite ready to enter the ranks of seniors. I know, because I'm there. Great picture and a wonderful post today.

Howdy and evening Yolanda

Yolanda my friend, like Bob said 22 year old's think anyone over the age of 25 are old. Your Son would actually think of me as really really old, lol! Way back when my youngest Son was 6, he ask me what it was like to ride a Dinosaur, I sure got a real hoot out that.

Have a good one

Hi Yolanda,  You dont look old to me!  Wait until your son is another 10 years older and he will look at you differently.  But he is right about planning for your retirement.  I like real estate better than stocks though!!!

Good Evening Yolanda and Robert:

Congratulation to you both.  A great major I might add.  Texas A&M has a pretty decent finance program.  You guys are close to Austin where John Carter practices.  He attended Texas A&M, I think  He is a Trading guru.  I would definitely recommend him if your son is going to dive into trading..

Kids...can't live without them though.

Yolanda, You must be so proud of your son, having graduated with a degree in finance!  Way to go!  Sometimes our kids do make us feel a tad bit older than we are.  I have found that now my girls teach me so much.  Isn't it funny how the tables turn? Once the teacher and now the student

What a nice picture of you and Bob!
