Official Start of Tax Season...

As if things aren't tough enough...

Friday was the official start to the 2007 tax reporting season.  Yes, that dreaded day has arrived.  Taxpayers who file their return electronically can begin sending in those files.  The IRS encouraged taxpayers to file electronically, either through tax preparers or with a computer using tax-preparation software.

It has been said that those people who file electronically can receive their refund within 10 days if they choose to receive their refund electronically, while those who owe taxes can file now and pay later...you all know that deadline.  Last year nearly 80 million returns were filed electronically.
