Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Madrona Farm, (4317 Blenkinsop Rd.) Saanich BC, from noon to 5pm.
Gates are open for parking at 11:30am
Celebrate the protection of Madrona Farm in perpetuity by the Land Conservancy of British Columbia. A sustainable model for agriculture on Vancouver Island.
100% of the proceeds of the Chef Survival Challenge will benefit farmland conservation and education.
At this catered event you can watch some of Greater Victoria's finest chefs go head to head through a very challenging obstacle course, including the infamous boat race to condiment island, climbing wall, irrigation pipe-crawl, haystack hurdles and much more.
Come cheer these chefs as t race around around the farm to pick the vegetables they need to create their masterpieces. A BBQ east is included in the price and spectators can join in on the festivities by bidding on the Chef's culinary masterpieces. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Bring the kids to their own tent, which will feature face painting, story telling and MORE!
