43 Comments on Life is Good - Manage your Day
What a great check list, Patricia. Yes, I need to be better about throwing out (or filing) those papers right away.
Patricia: Your list would be a good one for people who hoard things and have a tough time managing a day.
Kathy,
Thanks for the feature! I greatly appreciate that!
Debbie,
Things have a way of piling up fast, don't they? I'm glad I could help.
Valerie,
We all have so much to do and so little time. Being organized helps. Thanks for your comments!
Patricia-This is a great list to start your day. Life is good when you are the gatekeeper and master of your own destiny and you control your ship. Steer towards greatness
Good morning Pat,
I pressed suggest......can't believe this post doesn't have a gold star! This is a fantastic way to start your day..we are gatekeepers and need to practice this daily to stay on course!
Patricia:
Your list is what I need to remember. I am constantly writing list of thing to do each day, but sometime things just intrude and make my list useless. I never remember to schedule some down time, other than sleeping.
Patricia, very good list. I love "Whatever you touch, decide what needs to be kept." I need to repeat it to myself every day.
Patricia, paying attention to details is important. I agree we are the gatekeepers to our day. Great analogy,
Hi Patricia, I love the idea of weeding out-so important to get those little annoyances done quickly and what a great sense of accomplishment. Thanks for the daily inspiration.
Hi Patricia,
And make time to make 10 comments.
OK. YOu are number 10. Can I go to bed now?
Phil
Nick,
So good to hear from you! Deciding what needs to be kept is a tough one for me too. But I can tell you, it is very effective. To not decide, is to decide, and the decision never goes away until you decide to take action or delete, delegate or discard!
Phil,
I consider commenting on posts and writing blog posts to be therapeutic and a state of mental health!
I'm glad you made my post your 10th comment for the day and hopefully, you were in a better frame of mind the following day.
All the best to you!
Joanna,
I'm glad you appreciated it and that it was a source of inspiration. Nobody likes to weed, but it is a necessity.
Have a good one!
Pamela,
I find that if I remember that I'm the gatekeeper, it makes the day a lot easier and more manageable too.
I appreciate your comments very much.
Anna,
I hope you accomplish all that you need to do.
It was a joy to hear from you!
Evelyn,
Sometimes we just have to re-frame the question and follow actions that makes sense to us. I think we all have good intentions but when they become routine, it's easy to neglect the things we need to do. Sticking to a program that works makes life more manageable. And when it isn't working, we have to try something else.
All the best to you!
Dorie,
I appreciate the suggest. I've been suggested so many times and passed over, it would be a complete surprise if I was featured again. There are so many others who are so much better than me but I do appreciate your support and attempt get me featured.
Sharon,
Those are great thoughts.
Thanks a heavenly bunch!
Patricia - I love the photograph; it's beautiful and a great start to my day. Have a good one!
