Tami Saner & Associates answer seller’s short sale questions. Sellers always ask if they can take items in their home that are fixed to the property. It’s a great question and when I initially meet the homeowners before the listing has been written, I have learned that is the first question I ask. What do you want to take with you! Once I have a detailed list from the homeowners, I always advise if you want to take the ceiling fan or stove what ever it may be that is attached to the property then you need to replace it with a same like product that works before we list the home. You would be surprised that as soon as the homeowner knows they have to replace the items, they usually don’t bother taking the items at all. I hope this information helps as each property is different this is just a random example I have experienced.
