Carol...you are so right. I recently looked at a listing in the MLS that had ONE picture...and it was taken through the window of the car (you could see the window frame). Agent was too lazy to even get out of the car...shameful.
Good morning, Carol Ann.... this post is so true..... marketing today is not as it was years ago.... this is the age of Internet marketing and that includes video presentations of properties..... very few in our area are marketing properly.... Call the Cal and Al Team for a free market analysis and you'll see what they will do to market your property.
Carol Ann...I completely agree. If the upfront marketing is shoddy, what will the rest of the service be like?!
A nice condo expired in my MLS recently. Great location, community, price, so what went wrong? ZERO PICTURES!!!!
We really do need to appeal to buyers on a variety of levels Carol Ann...and yes, most of us are visual. A well thought out marketing plan will embrace all of the senses. Video, video, video. ;)
Terrific post Cal, the photos and presentation of the property can make a huge difference in getting a potential buyer interested.
Hi Jeffrey, I would laugh if it wasn't really hurting that seller!
Hi Barbara. Thanks for the plug. It sure has changed and I would say for the way better!
Hi Anita. I just don't get it.
Hi Doug. Can you imagine. What were they thinking????
.
Hi Debb. Your "you tube Thursday's" are a big help!
Hi Al. A good presentation helps get them in the door.
Carol Ann..are you saying you saw a house with a Christmas tree still up....or that you pictured the perfect place for the Christmas tree (because I do the latter all the time....all year round!). Either way you are right...presentation is everything.
Hi Christine. NO. I saw the Christmas tree. LOL. Really I did!
Hi Cal,
Your words of wisdom are so true. Too many listings have bad pictures or video's, no pictures, poor descriptions, sloppy work and too many other issues for me to list. Yes I have seen listings with the one picture as jeff mentioned above. Folks you need to Cal as she will do an excellent job of marketing your home and getting a really good price for your home. she is the expert and all you have to do is listen to what she tells you and follow instructions..
Carol Ann, I wish, i wish that most sellers would get this when I see they listed with a competitor and only have 1 picture marketing the property on the internet!
Hi Bob. Thank you! I so appreciate your support and your kind words. Coming from someone as straight forward and professional as you I do feel honored!
Hi Ginny. Funny that I find myself not interested in homes that are offered without the entire presentation. I can't imagine how potential buyers feel!
